We held the first workshop of the Freedivers series for Gaza on November 26 and we dedicated it to Gaza Sunbirds, a sports group of disabled cyclists from Gaza who, instead of training, are dedicating their time and efforts despite the very difficult conditions distributing humanitarian aid to victims of the conflict.
During the workshop, our association member – Tewfik Blaoui, one of the best freedivers in the Arab world, with an official record of 8’07”, shared with the participants his experience of the competitions and his journey to the world of competitive freediving, as well as his mental work techniques to be able to last without breathing for more than 8 minutes. The workshop was a great success, as almost all participants beat their personal bests during the practical part.
